Caesarea

We begin our tour by taking the coastal road north towards Caesarea, and the Caesarea National Park where we will see the remains of this 2000 year old Roman city and port. Built on the edge of the sea this is an expansive archeological site which reveals mosaics, houses, an aqueduct system as well as the famous Roman Amphitheatre. Here Israeli and International artists have performed and the semi-circular theatre in very well restored.

Haifa

Bahai GardensHaifa, a major port city with the sea on one side and the steep Carmel Mountain on the other. Haifa is a multi-cultural melting pot and this seaside metropolis encompasses the beauty of both sea and mountain forest.
Bahai Gardens
One of Haifa's major attractions is the UNESCO protected Bahai Gardens which pours down Mount Carmel in a series of 18 terraces of lush manicured gardens which burst with color. At the top of the gardens is the modest white Shrine of the Bab with it's distinctive gold dome.
Carmel Mountains
From Mount Carmel look down on the port of Haifa, the city and the sweeping bay. At one time Carmel Mountain was home to the prophet Elijah who features in Jewish, Christian and Muslim texts and it is also home to the Carmelite Monastery.

Rosh HaNikra

Our tour takes us as far north as you can go in Israel before reaching the Lebanese boarder. At Rosh HaNikra we will descend into the grottos formed by the sea beating against the chalk cliffs. We will follow a path through the tunnels and caves as the sea laps up just beneath us.

Acre

AcreThe ancient city of Acre, another UNESCO site, this fortified city by the sea has been inhabited by Crusaders, Romans, Greeks and Arabs each of who have left their mark. We will wander through the Crusader city looking at the thick walls facing the sea, the Great Mosque, the Citadel and more, finally getting to the colorful market.
Acre Market
Browse the market stalls with their wares hanging from every possible place, sample the freshly baked Baklava and bargain for the best deals you can!
