Start with an overview of Jerusalem from Mount Olives, looking down at the Old City and the Temple Mount. See the Church of All Nations in the Garden of Gethsemane and view the monumental burial tombs while driving along the Kidron Valley. Enter the Old City from Mount Zion, past the Armenian Quarter and continue along the Byzantine Cardo through the Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall (Kotel). Walk the Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Enjoy the bazaar in the Christian and Moslem Quarters. End with a short tour of the New City and a visit to Yad VeShem, the Holocaust museum. Note: On Fridays, Saturdays & High Holidays, when the Holocaust Museum is closed, the tour will include a visit to the Church of All Nations at the Garden of Gethsemane and to King David's Tomb and the Hall of the Last Supper on Mount Zion.

Places along the tour route:
Mount of Olives
We begin the tour by taking in the panoramic view from the Mount of Olives overlooking the Old City, giving you a bird's eye view straight onto Temple Mount and the iconic golden dome of the Rock.
Church of All Nations
The Roman Catholic Church of All Nations with it's Byzantine mosaics, on thr Mount of Olives here Jesus is thought to have prayed with the disciples before his fateful arrest.
Garden of Gethsemane
The Garden of Gethsemane at the foot of the Mount of Olives is our next stop this is where Jesus was finally arrested by Judas and his troops and taken before Pontius Pilate.
Ancient Tombs
The ancient burial tombs of Absalom, Jeosphate, Bnei-Hezir and Zachariah carved out of the rock face as we move through the Kidron Valley.
Mount Zion
We arrive at Mount Zion the site of the Church of Saint Peter in Gallicantu and the Tomb of King David, here we enter the Old City of Jerusalem through the Zion Gate into the Armenian Quarter.
Armenian Quarter
We pass through the Armenian Quarter, we see their traditional garb, smell the aroma of Armenian food and peek into their stores selling traditional Armenian pottery and jewelry.
The Cardo
We reach the Cardo, once the main thoroughfare through Roman ruled Jerusalem. Much of the Cardo has been restored and there are archeological remains on display here. Underneath the Cardo arches boutique stores sell Jerusalem inspired products.
Jewish Quarter
The Cardo leads us to the Jewish Quarter where Jewish Yishivot, bustling restaurants, and many interesting architectural and historic sites remain.
Wailing Wall
This is the Holiest Jewish site on earth, the only remaining wall from the 2nd temple which was destroyed in 70AD.
Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa)
We follow in the footsteps of Jesus along the Via Dolorosa route Jesus took baring his cross, today the route leads us through the colorful Arab market. We will stop at each of the Stations of the Cross where Jesus paused as he made his way towards his crucifixion.
Church of the Holy Sepulchre
At the last stop on the Via Dolorosa stands the Church of the Holy Sepulchre believed to be on the site of Jesus' crucifixion (Golgotha). As the church is shared by several Christian denominations we can see the various alters within the church belonging to different groups: Roman Catholic, Armenian, Ethiopian etc.
Bazaar
The Arab and Christian Quarters is a lively Bazaar
New City Jerusalem
The New City includes some well known sites including the Knesset and the most important streets in New Jerusalem King George Street, Ben Yehuda Street and Yaffa Road.
Yad Vashem
We complete our tour with a visit to the Israeli Holocaust Museum which graphically documents the fate of 6 million Jews during World War II. On Saturdays the site is closed so instead tours will visit sites on Mount Zion.
