Nazareth & Golan Tour

Day 1:

Begin the journey north by travelling along Israel’s scenic coastal plain via the plain of Armageddon to Nazareth. In Nazareth visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph's carpentry. Onwards via Kfar Kana to view the Mount of Beatitudes and Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha. Stop to view the Sea of Galilee and the ruins of the ancient synagogue of Capernaum and the city of Christ. Overlook on Tiberias and drive to the site of baptismal on the Jordan River - Yardenit (optional baptismal service for the participants). Return via scenic view of Mt. Tabor, the site of transfiguration. Continue to a kibbutz hotel in region

Day 2:

A panoramic view of the Sea of Galilee, the Jordan Valley and the southern Golan heights which we ascend via Hamat Gader. At the Shalom observatory we enjoy the view across the Sea of Galilee from whence we came and at Katzerin we visit both the museum and the excavated remains of the Talmudic city. On Mt. Bental we see the former Syrian fortifications and the Syrian city of Kuneitra across the border.

05:50 am transfer from Jerusalem to join the tour in Tel Aviv! Price includes accommodation per person in a double room on B&B basis. Single supplement $45 per person.
